　　据悉，空中客车公司已经使用碳纤维复合材料作为A320系列单通道飞机、A330/A340远程宽体机以及A380级超大型远程宽体客机的一次和二次结构材料。随着空中客车公司A350XWB系列全新远程中型宽体客机的生产，碳纤维应用量将大幅增加。该系列飞机计划2013年投入运营。

　　东丽公司当前拥有3个碳纤维生产基地，分别位于日本爱媛、法国Abidos和美国亚拉巴马州的Decatur，合计产能1.79万吨/年，约占全球碳纤维市场的34%。此外，该公司还拥有3个碳纤维预浸料生产基地，分别是日本的爱媛、石川以及美国华盛顿州的Tacoma。据悉，东丽公司正考虑在欧洲新建一个碳纤维预浸料工厂。东丽公司表示，当前其已经拥有全球飞机用碳纤维市场份额的60%。全球碳纤维市场正在以年均10%的速度增长，其中来自航空航天工业的需求年均增速为25%。
